Tried that didn't do any updates, guess I will have to phone sky or just wait for an update.
We changed over from Virgin Media customers and this is not a good start from Sky.

We now have bass after returning out first 55".....but the bass is massively distorted and crackling even on the most subtle bass. I then looked in the forum and there is a whole tread on crackling bass. Not sure this product is fit for purpose. Sonic boom advert feels a myth!

Well, yes: given that the dimensions of the enclosure somewhat limit both speaker driver size and air displacement volume, that's pretty well inevitable. My Mission subwoofer is roughly the size of a footstool.

The 'crackling' appears to be a manufacturing defect in some sets, so that's a separate issue.
