So just to update folk - so far: it's resolved!!! No flickers yet. Auto dark contrast (or whatever it's called) is now working and the picture looks much better in the standard modes. 

Tried live tv and playlist shows - both work with no flicker.

Can I please have this beta software update the screen flicker and dark UHD HDR is driving me nuts. My auto experience also keeps turning off

I do hope that this firmware update will be pushed out overnight to all active SKY Glass TVs... BTW, is there any "service code" or remote control combo to force a firmwware update? 😉

Moreover - a feedback line would be nice after pressing the Software Update button that you are on the latest version - or a firmware update is needed (like it is displayed on the remote firmware)...

@Anonymous  Don't wish for it too soon. At least you can still watch yours. I have the update but the tv keeps crashing every 10 minutes.

@Anonymous oh no! this is a bit of a car crash isnt it? I am dissapointed that Sky Glass didnt go through a more thorough Beta test. Why werent these issues picked up? I think all early adopters should get some kind of discount to be honest mate

@Annie+UK Hi ! Do you have a list of the ITV regional variations that are actually available on glass? Might be useful addition on your excellent webpage? I live in the Anglia region, but receive Meridian for some reason, but I dont even know if Anglia is available on  glass? Thanks
