Re: Software version update

@Jayboy1990 The local dimming on ours was on after the update. To note we didn't have the flickering problem.

I had the flickering issue, after updating turned dimming back on and its stayed on since then. And over night i had no issues getting it out of sleep.

Only issue that is back with this update is the motion sensors arent working!

Re: Software version update

I did not have - luckily- the flickering issue, but I DO miss the motion sensor functionality a LOT!

Re: Software version update

Hello,

is anyone else having issues with a black screen when trying to play a games console? I can hear the Xbox but can't see nothing in the screen.

thank you.

Maybe Sky's very quick fix for the flickering FALD fault was to force all Glass TVs to turn off local dimming by default, on every power-up.  Has anyone verified that local dimming is actually working?

So has anyone tested that local dimming actually dims any of the FALD zones?  A simple test, play a movie that's in 2.35:1 aspect ratio, and check that the black bars top and bottom are completely black, indicating those FALD zones are off.  Switch beteeen local dimming on and off, and see how the black bars should change from black to grey.

Re: Software version update

@tarbat  It seems to be totally black when there are visible black bars both too and bottom of picture.
