Slow broadband

I reported slow broadband speed and had a line fault diagnosed ,received a sms message saying fault is now repaired checked everything on MySky app and it says everything is fine but my download speed is still poor download is 5mbs upload  is 8mbs I'm suppose to be guaranteed 48mbs I have never had anymore than 30 odd my father in law lives 1 street away and gets 56mbs
