Is anyone on BT having this download problem running Sky Q firmware Q160 or Q170?

The issues seem to be getting worse as I am now getting failures on download content from Channel 5, All 4, BBC etc as well as Skyt Channels. Weirdly, If I try and download Kong Vs Godzilla, so far it has worked everytime............will be calling Sky again today.......
Crazy that they can't just admit the issue and provide a plan to resolve......

A new day - back to succession with my breakfast this morning - FAILED - again.
booted up the Netflix app within the Sky Q box - no issues streaming whatsoever.
FIX IT SKY

So this has now spread for me....started with American Rust and now affects everything. Cant download a bloody thing. Tried all the fixes and nothing works and it is getting worse day by day, with more and more affected.
Just about at the point now where I think I can happily live with Netflix and Freeview, so maybe its time if they dont fix this in the next few days.

I just wonder exactly how many people actually have this problem. I imagine there are many people who have SkyQ who ever come anywhere near this forum or even know it exists. If I go on the "My Sky" page on my TV set there are no messages for me and nothing at all on the Sky help pages to indicate there is a problem. Sky are terrible with communicating with their customers. We get updates and no indication or explanation what they have done. We get faults that affect thousands of customers are no explantion from Sky at all. It is a real poor show. Until we had this latest Q 180 update from Sky it worked perfectly well. Some of us got a Q170 update which obviously had some error and after a couple of days we were reverted to back Q160 which worked OK until this dreaded Q180 update. So please Sky can we go back to Q160 that worked very well, so why was it changed?

I emailed sky and received the following response .....
"I understand from your email that from several days you are unable to download programmes and wish to receive an update that by when this issue will be fixed and I also see that you wish to receive compensation for the same.
I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
I wish to inform you that our support teams are currently investigating and there are no update by when the issue will be resolved. Once the issue will be resolved you will be updated on the same. Hence, I request you to wait till then.
I am sorry to inform you that we will be unable to provide any compensation with regard to this matter."

I started downloading programmes this morning and worked fine. Got to 10am and now they're not downloading. It's so frustrating but luckily I've got enough downloaded to last me a while

Yes, I was on Sky Q 170 and had the problem, I'm now on 180 and still have issues

Just spoke to a Sky customer service person and when I gave her the info on the problem she immediately said its a known problem connected to BT broadband and it was caused by one of the recent Sky software updates! She said its being worked on currently and they are hoping for a proper fix soon.
We spent an age on the phone and found a workaround she recommended that is working so far....
Need to change the DNS settings in your network connection to 8.8.8.8 and press CONFIRM then immediately reboot your Q box. This has worked for me so far. She also said that you could try DNS of 1.1.1.1 and do the same - need to do it each time the box loses network connection for any reason as it will probably reset to the default DNS settings from your wifi.
For those that dont know its - Settings - Setup - Network - Advanced Settings
Fingers crossed that helps a few people.

I've tried downloading from catch up and on demand and even next episodes and all come up saying failed unavailable even on new stuff been added help
