Same here, either 0% or 1% then failed message. As previously mentioned I had a sky engineer here yesterday (sorting something else) and he said there is no current fix.  As far as he has been told they don't really know what is causing the issues and so cannot fix.  No timescales have been given...

Yes exactly that issue! Was just on hold with sky for 30 mins! Gave up!

Mine do too usually - first time it's done that and was after router reboot. 
Now gone back to an immediate failed download!

I have my wifi with BT but have had no issues.

I have all new fibre broadband from BT. Even a new line from the pole. The router is the latest BT Smart Hub 2. Been working fine since install about 2 months ago. Now "Download failed, item unavailable"  like everyone else is getting!

Yes ours has been in since May. It's so annoying as sky don't have an email address to contact! Fed up with spending hours on the phone!

My boxes work well with no problems before the 180 update, no failures on recordings, no lockups, what did this update do, apart from scrolling recorded programmes horizontally instead of vertically, which I can easily live without, so cannot we return to the version before 180?

It would be great if we could roll back to the previous firmware when it was working, if only to rule out the firmware being the issue. 

My problems certainly didn't start until the day after my box updated itself.

I am getting speeds of up to 48.3 

mbps. We have reset our BT broadband router several times. We download if at all possible as it doesn't always do it . When it does it's all green a pixelated.

we all need to be refunded for this as we pay a fortune for sky and not getting the service we pay for.

100% I am not happy to be paying for a service I am not receiving! My wifi perfect also.

I've also had one incidence of pixelated download. 

After many retries I finally got a download to work, started pixelated, but cleared up after about 10 seconds or so, thought I was good to go, 30 minutes or so in back to pixelated. Fast forward, ad break, ads clear as day, end of ad break, pixelated until the end of the download. 

Can someone explain how BT manage to download pretty much half an episode and the ads perfectly well but pixelate the rest?

It's not BT's issue - it's Sky.

Want to test that? Try YouTube - no problem. Netflix? No problem. Download some games through Steam. No problem.
