Posted by a Sky employeeHi there, thanks for escalating.
Unfortunately our team cannot help with cancellations and reverting.
You will need to try with the live chat or calling.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
If there is a system issue currently stopping the revert process going through the team should be setting a callback for you once the system issue has been resolved.

Yep they set call back twice and no call back.
spent 10 days and 8 hours on the phone 5 calls in total so this is the future of Sky customer care.

Posted by a Sky employeeDid they give dates for the callbacks? Because system issues usually take about 72 hours to resolve normally, sometimes longer for complex issues, so they wouldn't call you back prior to the system issue being fixed.

Yes gave me dates for call backs both time.

@Lisa-P1987Yes that is why I escalated it, no one seems to either be able or want to help.

Posted by a Sky employeeWe don't have the system access in our team which is why we have not sent an invite to chat as we cannot action anything.
But I will send the invite and we can have a look into who is managing this and ask them to get in touch.

I just phoned sky and been told that I can't cancel the sky glass tv hardware and the subs error still active.I have to wait for the back office to sort it.
I thought it was only 14 day to cancel the sky glass tv.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Totalwar2 No you have 31 days to cancel from date of delivery
the 14 days is if you don't activate it within that period (14 days) Sky will do it automatically

The legal amount is 14 days but Sky have extended this to 31 days.

You may be aware that I understand your frustration due to my situation, but Sky know what you wish to do, they're not going to wait until your 31 days are past and tell you that you can't go back.
You'll just have to be patient and get them to sort you out once they've got to grips with their systems.

I'm not sure if this will help, but I had a similar account problem a few years ago.
When signing up for Sky Broadband, they managed to create an additional account number linked to my existing account. From then on trying to do anything was an absolute nightmare, as I had separate account numbers on the 'same' account. I couldn't make any changes online and they were confused as hell every time I phoned up.
This caused problems every time I wanted to make any changes - even after I no longer used Sky Broadband the problem persisted. I spent hours on the phone to Sky with customer services, each time they tried to help and each time it made no difference. They'd send out a 'new' viewing card which was just the same as the old one.
In the end I cancelled my Sky account, then signed up again with a completely new 'fresh' account (making sure I used a new email address).
It was the only thing that worked.
