Sky voice control

Ok, I've moved from Sky+HD to Glass, and I'm new to voice control. Is there a list of suitable phrases which might improve my communication? My car offers suggestions if it doesn't understand my commands.

@bayardm got my own Glass system today so have been playing with the voice control and fortunately its a lot better than my car's voice control - its more like Siri or Alexa and understands most common words..

@Chrisee

That's what I thought. However having said"pause" how do you continue. Saying "continue" doesn't work.

@Deedee36  My set was given to me by Sky although I paid for the pucks, 4 of the 12 Oracles are getting free TVs and I was lucky to be chosen. I have promised write a review which will get posted somewhere in the forum next week. Have to thank @GD1 and others for their sterling efforts answering posts now at least there will be some reinforcements. 😀

Initial thoughts are quite positive the TV has a better picture than I really expected especially after a few basic setting changes I picked up from other posters and a video review. The audio is far better then most modern TVs. Its going to be a second set as my LG C9 OLED is better but it should be as it cost almost exactly double the price of the Glass. I will reserve judgement on HDR performance for the time being.

The OS shows promise although there are some obvious bugs - especially on the pucks which are quite unstable. It certainly isnt the disaster some posters around here say it is, Not sure if there are a few bad panels around but mine looks pretty even on the content I have been using.

The delivery was very smooth on time as was the activation process once I sussed out thst pulling the paper outof the rdmote can leave the bit stopping the battery from connecting behind!  Also signing into multiple apps on 3 pucks and one TV left me somewhat underwhelmed.

I asked the two guys who delivered mine if they were getting a lot of returns apparently out of the 19 drops they had today only one was a collection.

@Chrisee  I don't think it's as bad as some people though it was yes there are a few teething problems but hopefully with this forum and now a few orceals testing these will be quickly  improved on

Yes, another issue was flagged in the forum earlier and has been fed back to Sky to investigate.

Re: Sky voice control

@Chrisee

I pulled the tab on my puck remote and it snapped before releasing the batteries. Assuming they have to be replaced at some time I slid the back cover just a small distance until I could get a small pair of tweezers onto the remnant and successfully removed it.
