Sky q mini will not connect to my tv

A few days ago the tv in my kitchen reported 'no connection' which means it was failing to connect to the sky q mini. That mini is in turn connected to a booster and then to my main sky q box.

 

I have done the usual and reset all the connections and all seemed to connect to the main box. Green lights everywhere but still no connection to the kitchen TV.

 

I am a Sky broadband customer.

 

Any solutions confer immediate sainthood on the provider!

hi @greenjanner can I just check is it the TV itself saying no connection or the SKY Q Mini giving an image with it saying no connection ?

hi @greenjanner in which case 2 things to try

  1. A different HDMI Cable
  2. Resetting the video resolution on the mini - once you are confident it is on (green light) Press Home 1 0 8 0 Home

I will try a new hdmi cable first. In terms of the booster alteration where would I do that? In Settings on my main Sky Q box?

Is your TV actually set to show the input/source that your Sky Q box is connected to? Have you cycled through the inputs using your TV's remote control?

Checked that again. All correct as far as the TV is concerned. Why would that change in a few minutes?

Hi @greenjanner did you try the Home 1 0 8 0 Home reset of the video resolution ?

Could the TV be faulty, not necessarily the SkyQ box?
