Sky box

Sky are fining me £50 for not handing back my sky box. I've moved house I packed it in storage and can't get

it out for

another

month. Will

theynrefund

whwm i

send it

back ?

@Pineapple+pieces  They should, however you need to be sending it back when they ask for it, delaying could incur more fees.  I would expect Sky to follow up with futther emails/texts asking you to send back their equipment.

 

Although you have put their box in storage Sky won't know that and will assume you just don't want to return it.  Why can you not get it out of storage now & return it?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

  • Most likely they will, but I would call and check with Sky, make sure you keep proof of posting when you do send it back.
Passing on the tips I have learned in over 25 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.

@Pineapple+pieces  Post back on this thread when you have sent it back (leave about two weeks between sending it back and posting again on here to give enough time for the box to be received) and someone will be able to alert sky to this for you 

 

as already mentioned make sure you get proof of postage as this will be required

I'd o want to return it but I can't find it. I can't find anywhere I can email them directly to let them know. There's a million places to go to contact them and I can't find mine

I sent the modem back which was wrong thing to send back. I wish I could find a direct email I could mail them and explain my situation

@Pineapple+pieces Persevere on the phone. Don't hang up if prompted and if asked why ringing just say technical. You will then join the queue. The best times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm when the lines are quieter.

Probably depends when you call. When lines open at 7.00am or after 9.00pm are reportedly best.
