Sky account is closed, but I’ have live account and new address

Sky moved me recently.. I want to upgrade to uhd but app tells me my account is closed and seems I can't get in touch with a human to explain situation, please advise

  • To get a number click on "Need more help" at the bottom of this page
    https://www.sky.com/help/home
  • If you have Sky Talk or Sky Mobile dial 150 for a free call to Sky.
  • When you call you will be asked if the call is to do with mobile say "No"
    You will then be asked the nature of the call say " Technical "
  • You will be offered a text to the number you are calling on say "Yes" and a text will be sent DO NOT hang up when it says to do so.
  • It will then ask "do you wish to hang up" say " No" you will then be put in the queue for an advisor.

When you moved @Drminta did you close your Sky account at your previous address and then start with a new one because if you did you would need to set up a new account to login to the MySky app with.

 

If you want to use the same email address then you need to first remove it from the old account first as this will then free it up allowing it to be used when setting your new ID up. First try this link to do this:

If this link doesn't work for you then try it yourself by logging into the old account here:


https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details


Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID:
