Now they are standing at the touch screen, no problems at the moment. It is really strange.

Thanks. I just find it annoying that after having glass for so long and being on the whole very positive about it, that they have since the last upgrade put this gremlin in.

Picture and sound distortion

Hi, does anyone else's sky stream puck do this? It only does it on the 4k channels. This video is from the sky sports ultra hdr channel. The picture distorts regularly and sometimes the sound stops and starts again. It's been doing it for a while and I thought I'd leave it to see if the updates would fix it, but they haven't. I an on 1gb Internet.

The video is above but might not be approved straight away.

I was wondering if it was a problem with the broadcasting or the sky stream puck itself.

Thanks.

Re: Picture and sound distortion

I get the same regular distortion on UHD sports. Not seen it on other UHD programmes. It happens on different pucks and TVs in our house. As you can see it is when they change cameras. It also regularly happens when they put graphics on. So I think it is definitely a broadcast issue. Come on Sky sort it out, we are paying a lot of money for live sport!!

Re: Picture and sound distortion

Yes, definitely the same as you. It only happens on live UHD streams, so I've always noticed it on the sky sports UHD channels. I've not noticed it on any other channel. But didn't know if it was the broadcasting or the sky stream puck itself.

Surely sky know about this, its been going on for months for me and surely I'm not the only one obviously. They need to get it fixed.

Have you tried changing uhd from 10 bit to 8 bit?

Re: Sky Sports UHD - Picture Break Up / Pixelation

No problem with the TV,  it is the Sky Puck and has only happened since the 11 update.
