Sky Sports UHD - Picture Break Up / Pixelation

Thanks for your patience whilst we investigated this problem.

We can confirm that there are significant improvements in the QS13 version of software which has started to roll out here.  Just so that you know, you can't force your Glass/Stream Puck to the new version as we update devices in a staged manner.

QS013 just dropped on one of my pucks.

I suffered from pixelating on UHD channels, particularly with on screen graphics in F1 and live football. I also noted it on the UHD BT Sport Ultimate channel in their repetitive splash trailer.

I have just been watching the BT Sport Ultimate trailer on loop and can confirm all picture pixelation/interference/picture break up has disappeared.

Great news - awaiting QS013 like an excited kid at Christmas as I really canot take being moaned as by the family anymore due to multiple issues with the Sky Stream Pucks.

My puck has got the latest firmware and I can say that I haven't noticed any pixalation on the Sky Sports UHD channel like I did before.

However I mainly noticed it on football matches so I shall see tomorrow on the live efl match, but so far so good.

I've also noticed that was another bug bare of mine, that the TV guide now loads up instantaneously instead of scrolling down and it saying waiting for guide information on every channel and it taking 10 seconds to load for each channel.

The one thing that still seems to stand however, is when scrolling down the menus on the puck, it still feels sticky when scrolling down, whereas the glass TV feels smooth. Only a minor issue but annoying nevertheless.

I've got the QS13 firmware and seen nothing pixelating so far on sky sports IHD. So maybe we are golden now!

@I do hope so I'm still on 12 and awaiting 13 as this is the decision maker on returning to Q or not!

Knowing the way stream performs for me I'll probably be January before I get it but I'm used to disappointment with this system so.....

I honestly truly don't still know if I like the system or not I can easily see it's the future of Sky but seeing as it's over a year old and there is still issues like this one which have only just been resolved it seems more fixing the basics then advancing the system.
