Has anybody managed to actually talk to a living person about this? After 2 weeks wait I had an email from D+ Support giving me a link to the set up instructions! I politely advised him that I had already tried that (on numerous occassions).

@IanS63 The same here they keep send me all the links that I have tried 😡 spoke to sky on the matter and they referred me back the discovery + saying it's there problem. So frustrating 😡

I was so hopeful when I read your post, but sadly, still in issue. 😞 I can get the app to pair and login, but before, but again, as soon as I exit the app on the SKYQ box, and then try to go back in, I get the 'Subscribe and refresh' screen.
The issue here seems to be that Discovery+ does not recognise that I have a subscription via SKY. This is proven, because my Discovery+ account says that I have "No active subscription". But according to my SKYQ box, I DO have a subscription.
This has been going on for over 2 weeks now. I am more than frustrated now. I am very angry. What are Sky doing to resolve this? Anyone know please??

@pldodd78 Did you get a way to resolve the issue with Discovery+ as have just activated this (March 2022) and having the exact same issue!

Still no luck with getting In Discovery they email the same links I gave tried. So frustrating now 😡😡😡😡😡

@AndyMSky No, I didn't get the 12 months free through Sky Q resolved 🙄... I ended up subscribing to a monthly payment plan (€5.99 per month) with Discovery Plus, once I'd done that I was in and watching with no issues... in all honesty, I'd spent too many hours trying to get it sorted and got too frustrated to keep trying...
