Re: Sky HDR

Same I have no HDR content sky should've communication is very poor there should be an automatic box exchange  if you have an older sky Q 2 TB Box & unless you are an elderly or key worker there not taking calls im a key worker but I still don't think they will take my call about this as if im paying for new content then we all should have the right equipment to view it on

Re: Sky HDR

@Chicklet83

So it's not the  tv  then? So it's the sky q box?

Correct.

You've a V1 2tb box. If you read a little earlier, from Kei, you'll see you can't just ask for another box. The path to replacement boxes will happen in due course.

You can always ask, whether you get is another matter.

Re: SKYQ HDR How do I get a new 2TB Box

Surely With things being as they are even if people did ring for a new box, it'll still be a while before they get the new box until the situation improves significantly.

Re: Sky HDR

Okay, here's a challenge. Let's agree you can only post now if you've not already had a go, or if you can say something that hasn't already been said. If you fail, this thread gets locked. Sound good?

Re: Sky HDR

At least you said their is a program coming but the question is how long. I know its bad timing but also how much content has to be built up before you consider it time to upgrade people. Is it over a set amount of hours or a set amount of shows and movies.

We got Macgyver season 4 coming out soon so I won't be surprised if that will be HDR and I can't watch it in best of the best., what about new movies.  You do rotate content sometimes quite quickly so will some of it be gone when we finally get to upgrade as well. This is badly thought out by sky and really unacceptable.

Re: Sky HDR

Cool as now he won't be asking for a new tv lol 😂 he just phone sky as like many he couldn't get hdr as that one of the reasons he wanted sky q and pay so much money to them, they arranged for engineer to come out tomorrow morning to replace are sky q, the women in sky custom care was very helpful my husband said.

@Chicklet83 - An Engineer won't swap a box out if it is not faulty. Also even if they did you will just get what they have spare in the van.

It's a joke.  @Rhonny  isn't Sky Staff  (just like pretty much everyone else posting on here). But he does have a point - a lot of useful information has been buried in this thread by people  asking the same questions over  and over again.

Okay, here's a challenge for @Rhonny  Let's agree you let other people have a view without belittling their view or claiming to know more than anyone else? Sound good?

Re: Sky HDR

@Rhonny I hope your right. Will be annoyed if it is. The on demand versions will be in 4K and its out it June so I'll be a little surprised its not bit also a little relieved if it is not.

While there are some documentaries i like to see in HDR as I have seen BBC ones and they looked good so I am holding off the sky ones for now, at some point there is bound to be something I would realy want to watch in HDR and going to be ticked off that I can't.
