Sky Go issue on Samsung S7 device

Have always had no issues with Sky Go using this device; However, having trouble watching Live Events namely tonigts live football.

"An unknown error occurred, please try again. If the problem persists please try restarting the app:- Error code-41942875" is the message I keep getting.

Any ideas ?

Re: Sky Go issue on Samsung S7 device

I had the same issue! It's something on the WIFI you're connected to that is blocking the content you want to watch. I disconnected and connected to another available WIFI and it works fine now, alternitively turn off WIFI and watch on 4G if you have the available data.

Try logging out of the app and then back into it.

Re: Sky Go issue on Samsung S7 device

Hi it seems to work on 4g May have something to do with your Internet setting blocking the app try with data if that works then that may be the issue

Re: Sky Go issue on Samsung S7 device

I phoned Sky who took me through all the reactivation of the TV settings the resetting of the router but nothing worked for my Tab 7 however there's no problem with my Samsung A21 smartphone or my wife's Samsung Tab A6 but when I checked the system version in settings the phone and Tab 6 were a newer version than the one on my Tab 7 but when I uninstall the Sky go app play store will only let me install the older version 21.4 and the new version is 21.5 so I'm unsure if it's a Samsung problem or a Sky or Google problem

Re: Sky Go issue on Samsung S7 device

I have had the exact same problem and reported it over 1 year ago, I still await an update just as well I haven't been holding my breath, shocking service to a common issue when clearly its a SkyGo app issue..SKY get your act together and deal with the issue.

@Garcon1  Crossposting and demanding Sky to do something won't make it happen.  You are aware we are all customers here and while Sky "may" read the forums, they won't reply here.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
