First question would be,
Before you activate, what capabilities does the TV have before sky activation, so being a non Sky dumb TV.
What apps are available, if any?

How does the use of the aerial and freeview channels work and display like?

Isn't Freeview accessed through an App? I don't think anything is accessible without initial activation.

Freeview is available through an aerial on Glass but with no recording capabilities. It isn't an App.

Mine's here.  I told them not to bother unpacking it, I'd do it myself.   Haven't unpacked it yet.

@lettice I think - the 1st thing that I will do (which is counter-intuative I know) is plug Sky Q straight in!  I want to know what the 'expereince' is like if I couldn't cope with the Glass streaming service and went back to Q.  I am hoping that I won't need to go back - as I want to get rid of my old surround sound system, box and TV cabinet!

I'm keeping my "old" surround system.  Can't beat having rear speakers, no matter how good companies say that "virtual" surround is.

For those having problems with the order processing roundabout - try a different browser. I was having an issue with Safari on my iPad, and then switched to my iPhone and it worked first time.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

To anyone that has it:

How fast is channel switching, any buffering/pixellation?

How far behind realtime are the streams? Try going to sky news and see what the time says compared to your phone.
