Sky Deutschland

My tv was disconnected when I was decorating and came up with Sky Deutschland when reconnected, can anybody tell me why and how to get back to the original Sky. Thank you.

@Blueninak  That will be your TV that needs to have the HDMI label amended, you should be able to do this by checkimg your TV's user guide.

By all means give Sky a call, if you prefer.

Where is 'Sky Detutschland' appearing? Is it adjacent to 'HDMI1 (or 2 etc)?  Is your Sky box working normally?

I'm currently having this same problem, my 10 month old loves to mess with the remote! I've an LG CX. If anything like mine there's an arrow over the hdmi section called Universal Control Settings. You can reset the Hdmi name through this with pre set names. Now mine BSKYB, not fixed but it's something.

Someone should tell LG they are nearly a decade behind the news there ; )

Following BSkyB's acquisition of Sky Italia and a majority interest in Sky Deutschland in 2014, its holding company British Sky Broadcasting Group plc changed its name to Sky plc (now Sky Group Limited). The UK subsidiary's name was changed from British Sky Broadcasting Limited to Sky UK Limited, and continuing to trade as "Sky".
