Since we upgraded to sky q , we are having issues getting the tv to come out of standby by using the sky remote...any suggestions as to why and how to solve it?

Hi @seaswimmer
You are not using Sky Q in the early morning while it is in ECO standby are you?

Hi @seaswimmer
If it is the TV you have a problem with (and not the Q box) check that you have HDMI control switched on in Home - Settings - Setup - Audio Visual.
HDMI control also needs to be switched on the TV. You can Google what HDMI control is called in your TV.
With this on in both TV and Sky Q : when you switch the Q box out of Standby the TV will also switch out of standby. Unfortunately Sky Q HDMI control will not switch the TV off.
Provided your Q remote is correctly paired with your TV you can switch the TV on or off with a long press of the Q remote standby button. Short press for Q on/off long press for TV on/off. ( 3 seconds about for TV).
If your remote is not correctly paired
Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes twice and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
