My mother moved house and recently installed a new SkyQ box and has taken PlusNet broadband. The Broadband wifi works perfectly on all devices - phones, computers etc. However the Sky Q box does not find it when we try and connect within Network Settings - it just does not find the PlusNet signal. Then if we try and add it as a new network there is a long list of letters such as WPA related to entering the password but we have no idea what to select. Why does SkyQ not find the PlusNet network and what can we do about it ?

Check the plusnet router is running a compatible 2.4ghz WiFi channel (1-12) and is in good range of the WiFi hub. Remember signal strength can be much lower to a Sky box thats tucked inside or low on a TV stand.
