Re: SKY Glass Issues
At the time of writing dissappointed with the glass TV seems to go intermittently darker at the edges screen freezes and showsfault errors and drops out of programmes. We had an old 2007 tv which worked perfectly the quality of the picture of the sky glass is better at the moment feeling deflated by the whole experience, given we were so excited about it.
customer services have been excellent very helpful

Re: SKY Glass Issues
2nd day of my sky glass and keep dropping and showing blue screen for a couple of seconds, so annoying. When it works it's great. But when it behaviour is like this it will be going back. Be interesting to know how many are being returned. I'm going to give it longer, but when I'm paying for a TV, I expect to get a working TV. My broadband is good enough and allso through sky. Currently got virgin ringing me trying to give me offers. Not good when a new sky product is making me think maybe I should go back to virgin after 2.5 yrs with sky

Re: SKY glass colours
I have had a few issues with sky glass. But like all new things there are teathing issues.
To get the best out of the tv you have to switch off the backlight in settings and alter the colour settings to your choice.Tese can be found by going on to the iternet and searching sky glass colour settings. If you still have connection issues check your speed but mainly check for the latest update patch that sky have sent recently......
Sky charge a fortune for a service that hasnt been fully tested in my opinion al lsky glass sets should be recalled as there not fully out of the box ready as they should be. there never going to get people interested if a. they sell a non fully tested future proof in regards to quality product.
B. Improve there customer service response time instead of keeping people hanging on or bouncing them from department to department........

Re: SKY Glass Issues
I have solved it by cancelling my sky phone and broadband and have gone with virgin. I am keeping the sky glass, but shortsighted of sky thinking people will just want a streaming TV, so I have invested in a humax freesat box to connect to the TV. This way I can record and get the other freesat station I had oon sky Q, that you don't get with sky glass. Don't get me wrong I like the sky glass, but the advertisement for it are misleading, as you don't talk about what iis lost. I suspect one of the exe motivation behind the sky glass is to tie customers to sky for longer. Yet I am nie with virgin again for phone and Internet and I have invested in a freesat box. I gad no intention to do either of thoses things before I got sky glass, so sadly an own goal for sky as am spending £45 less a month with sky now.
