SKY F1 Offer 2021?

tried ringing them, they said the only offer they could do is the £18 a month (not a offer, is it?). Anyone know if you can subscribe to https://www.formula1.com and use a VPN to watch the races on an iPad?

@Afhussain If your referring to f1tv then no as it's blocked for uk customers due to sky's exclusive deal

Well, email responded to, they called me, they spoke to Value Team, then put me back to UK and a Scotsman in 'retentions' No deal. £18 rolling!!!!!

Thank you for your efforts. There are no offers on F1 according to the Scotsman in 'Retentions' he clearly did not believe me when I said I'd sent you a screen grab of a customer on the Sky Community showing £3 on 18 month contract. I wasn't expecting that anyway, just a fair loyal customer deal.

He hiked the discounted SKY Sports (£25) on my account from £20, you said someone called 'Value' quoted, to £22 from April 1st so I declined.

I am happy with the courtesy of operatives but very unhappy that as  a continuous customer of some 30 years standing I can not have any deal on F1 which starts tomorrow.

I would appreciate if this could be made known to your superiors along with a copy of the screen grab from the SKY Community Forum which they can of course view and take part in as they feel fit.

A lot of very unhappy SKY customers including this one

Hi Presley,

Managed to get through to the Value team (despite another department saying they didnt know of any such department?!?).

Spoke to a friendly helpful guy and explained the forum and the £3 offer. I sent him the images and was put on hold for quite a bit. He said he didnt know of any such deal but would look for me. After several periods on hold and telling me he was speaking to someone he said that he couldnt get an answer. 

He said he will call me Sunday to update me and hopefully come back with something, but that there was nothing he could do at the moment.

Ahh well, keeping my fingers crossed for Sunday, and as Im at work I wont be watching Sundays race live anyway. Wish me luck!

Clicked the £18 this morning so we can watch the F2 today.

May June July bills now show as below. Totally random amount it seems! From previous experience this of course will no doubt change. No email confirmation of change yet. Channel update worked instantly though. Thanks for sharing your views on my first thread on here.

It does seem that way however there is method in their madness.

Sky are chasing two main KPIs

1) number of subscribers

2) Average customer spend

The cost of delivering a service doesn't change if  one takes the signature pack on its own, or if they take that plus some add ons, so the name of the game is let there be haggle and get people parting with a little more cash than they would have otherwise.

I moved to Sky 9 years ago just for f1, and now have fibre, broadband, tv, phone and mobile. I cant justify 80% increase.  I called to ask and advisor asked his line manager and will not go below £18 per month rolling contract. Guess i have no reason to stay with sky now.  Gutted because the coverage is superb.
