QS008.008.00P has landed

Checked setting this morning and it appears that QS008.008.00P has landed on my TV.  I'm normally one of the last to receive the updates, so I'm guessing that it maybe a general roll out this time - I maybe wrong.  Can't see anything new as yet., it maybe just another stability fix. Comment here if you see anything new

Hi @Anonymous  it landed on my kit last week one useful addition is the ability to re-order favourites after saving the list as you can on Sky Q. There are apparently improvements in red button usage in the apps plus a few other tweaks. Seems stable on my pucks which are running QS008.04 and the TV which is on QS008.05.

Re: QS008.008.00P has landed

@Chrisee  thought you may of had it earlier, as you usually do. Glad you kept quiet about it, saves all the comments of I tried to force update etc.

Seems you're a few .000s behind so must have been a very minor minor tweak before roll out

Haven't checked the puck yet as just heading off to work, will check later.

@Anonymous  TV is now running QS008.08 suspect there was a minor issue with the earlier release which was not intended for the UK market as that is now missing.

Did not post in the open forum last week as hardly an earth shattering release and was hoping for a fix list from Sky but none has appeared. A few of the superusers are in the first batch release so we can answer questions.

@Chrisee  The ability to reorder you favourites is not a new feature. It has always been available. I put my favourites in the same order as on Q on the day I got my glass in November.

Re: QS008.008.00P has landed

Yes, but as described in another thread, the reorder favourites feature is well hidden.

Re: QS008.008.00P has landed

It's not exactly a hidden feature. When you choose your favourites and click save list you are immediately taken to a screen headed Reorder and Save.

@dasym it is broadly the same functionality as on Sky Q

Re: QS008.008.00P has landed

@DF3828 , @Chrisee When I added favourites when I first got Glass, there was no need to click save list so I didn't see the option and, not coming from Sky Q, I didn't know about the feature.

Re: QS008.008.00P has landed

@Deedee36 This guy on facebook, always pushes something out when I or others post a comment about updates. If he was correct, then the actual last updates are usually on a Thursday at the end of a 2 week period, so this coming Thursday.  My guess is you will get your update either tomorrow or Thursday morning.  I usually get it right at the end of the updates (despite being one of the first sets installed), this time I got it a few days earlier, who knows another 6 months and I might be one of the first. 😀

Re: QS008.008.00P has landed

I've got the first 2 of these on QS.007 already. Don't know about the 3rd because I've got the ad skipping option.

@Deedee36 - surprise, surprise!   I would suggest that it maybe this evening for the final roll out, unless they have found an issue.
