A big problem from the start is the (playnow) continue watching rail is not in sync across all our devices in terms of how far we have viewed any of our shows and the progress bars  from it,I have found launching an app sometimes kicks the progress bars in sync with each other,this is a workaround and should not have to be done to get a simple feature to work

@Anonymous I've recently got Apple TV. Cancelled BT sport on Sky Glass at £27/month and got Apple TV with BT sport included for just over half the price. Like you I'm very impressed with how Continue Watching is handled here. Just a pity that Sky can't replicate it!!

Yes the Up Next rail is brilliant and spot on with content. Plus guess what you can mark an episode as watched a series as watch or even just remove all with a couple of button actions.

 

What a fantastic idea! I wonder if anyone at Sky has bothered to look at a well integrated feature 🤔

I was considering Apple tv but the 6 months free Apple tv from Stream will do for now!

Hi @Carnoch04 

Can you provide a link or at least details of where to find the offer of 6 months free Apple TV as I have not been able to find it. When I go to the App in the Apps and inputs rail it shows an offer of only 7 days.

 

I am on Glass so maybe it's an offer specific to Stream.

Hi again @Jporch316 

I don't know what is going on with this.  I got as far as confirming the payment of £0 was authorised by my bank and then nothing.

 

If I go to AppleTV on my laptop, phone or Glass it just shows trhe option of a 7 day trial.  Have I done something wrong?

 

I have not received anything with a login/password.

I used MySky app on my iPhone and it linked straight into Apple TV on my phone 

 

Had to choose a payment method on my phone then told me it would expire June the 10th

Big blue button came up on my phone saying "redeem now" then opened Apple TV app (which I've never used)

 

I've set a reminder on my phone to cancel  on June the 8th - it added an extra 7 days on which is the normal trial period 

 

I've never even opened the app before 

 

I then logged into the glass app with my Apple ID- you ll need one of these
