@Deedee36 The progress/watched bar disappearing all the time is my biggest complaint at the moment.

I like your idea that the bar should turn into a tick when completely watched but this would only help if the tick stayed there and doesnt dissapear after a couple of days.

Can someone with a glass tv and a puck do a wee test for me please??

If someone could try adding a random series to their playlist list on the glass tv(now don't watch it I don't wanna get blamed if it stickers there lol) check if you get the tick to say it has been added.Now go to your puck and check your most recent rail check if the series has showed up and if your getting the add series button beside it even though you've got the series added on your glass tv

Re: Playlist refresh now live.

@Jayboy1990  The problem for me is a series that my other half started to watch, but didn't like it (The White Lotus),

So we went in to 'Playlist' found the series and pressed 'Remove Series' This did remove the show from our playlist, but was still showing in 'Continue Watching'

As others have reported, then have to search the programme, then go to the last show of the current series, play and FF to the end of the show,

This if your lucky will remove the show, which it did,

But it has now come back at the start of the 'Continue Watching' rail,

Could be a smashing piece of kit, if the implementation of the fundermental elements worked as intented

Re: Playlist refresh now live.

Well, here we go!

Since my earlier submission as requested I entered a new program tonight on Prime and it has gone to the front of Most Recent exactly where it should be pushing B & C back one slot - so that's correct.

Question is why has it started to work correctly now 🤔

Plus the blue lines for episodes watched have returned 😳

It's so weird.......

@Deedee36

Yes I do.  I saw your earlier comments, I can confirm that whatever I add to TV or add to the puck are exactly the same mirror image in playlist.

Re: Playlist refresh now live.

@Deedee36

Ah right sorry misunderstood.

Yes if I add something on Puck it does appear in Playlist on the TV but it does want to add again even though it is there.

Not spotted that until now.

However if you go to 'Playlist' and find the show ie in 'TV shows in this instance, click on it and it will ask 'Continue S1:E1'  Of the  next option is 'Remove Series' i can confirm this works a treat, and immediately removes it from both the 'Playlist' and 'Continue Watching' tabs

Indeed but the issue is removal of those things that have not been added to the playlist!

Done. It all ran down the back, sparks came out of the set and now it smells funny and doesn't work.

Re: Playlist refresh now live.

Right, I'm back from my holidays and playing with the refresh.

The top rail is very useful to continue watching things, but why is my most recently watched thing hidden to the left and the rest of the rail random/tailored promos?

And why the duplication with a second continue watching rail four steps down?

Re: Playlist refresh now live.

@Ed.B.

It's changed slightly, here you go:

A new program added goes into most recent and sits there.

The latest episode should move that program to the front of the most recent list once available. If you have another new episode of a different program 30 mins later that will move to the front.

In tandem once you've watched a first time episode of a Program from the most recent the system now knows to add future episodes into the continue watching rail. So the continue watching rail will update with new episodes from your most recent that you have started previously watching or if available the next episode in the series. Dare I say like a "recording" and series link.

But, if you watch an on Demand that you don't add to your playlist the system assumes you then want to watch all episodes of the series or box set whether you do or don't and adds it to continue watching,  frustrating because it's not easily removed.

To get rid of these rogue unwanted episodes you have to locate the final episode in the series or boxset and start to watch it then fast forward to the end to remove it. This is more tricky if a program is across multiple app providers. BBC, Gold, Dave etc.

* A program / film will remain in your playlist. Most recent until you remove it even if 100% watched. It will disappear if no longer available, I believe.

Hope that helps.

Re: Playlist refresh now live.

So, this is an odd one! Has anybody else had this happen?

As we know Stream does not record but look at this....... Part recorded ???

Again Sky need to be careful with its terminology stream does not record, so is it a partial download surely that shouldn't happen. 🤔
