Yer I agree these issues need addressing fast as the more I read the  issues with glass I'm not looking forward to getting it now and for us the q was a step back from + mostly so to take another step back is no looking so good 🧐🤔🤨

Maybe because glass sounds better in the perfect world of marketing and we hoped it would be better with all the expertise  that sky have and some people like us that like new technology   so hoping for cake and eat it but looks like the worse than the q and that is worse than + we think most of the time 🧐🤨🤔 tech should be smarter with next generation stuff should work out the bugs and be better! But most of the smart technology is not that smart !

@BIG24FAN  It's different.  It isn't for everyone, so people do need to do a lot of research and ask themselves it this the system for them, particularly if local satellite recordings are important to you still.

It has early adopter issues, like all new hardware has, but theres a lot to like about it and a lot that could be better, as you'd expect again from an early product.  However, even in this early state I prefer it to Q.  Q was a horror show early on, IMHO, much worse than this.

My wife is less tolerant, but she can see where it's going.

Her biggest gripe is the missing episodes in playlists.  This should really be a priority to fix, and whatever mechanism they're using to provide this should be very well monitored, with a reporting system in place by the users to report missing content between episodes in series.

Yer we had lots of issues with our q box's was hoping they would have fixed theses issues by now a issue like theses wouldn't happen on glass but 🤨  we will see how fast sky fix issues this time !

As usual all but the program you want to watch bit like our q you see new series or one on demand so you add it then it either starts on ep 2 or missing one + ep in the middle 🤨😡🤔

In day to day use over the last week I've run into the playlist/record problem once. So in reality, for many people, I don't think it's an issue.

Like my other comment if you told you can have cake and eat it why not and our tv is get old and we like smart technology 🤨 if that's possible by looking at most of our voice assistance  or voice controlled  technology I don't think man kind is in any danger for a good few years yet unlike The terminator movie  said we would be taken over by now lol  😂. You can't even set a timer or  control your phone hands free without hassle! 😡🧐🤔🤨🤪 ! and we like new technology toys but things going down hill by sounds off it 🤪😓🤔

That's strange on our last broadband supplies the mini box in the master bedroom had to be hardwired to the main box as the signal was not strong enough to reliably watch sky in bedroom even though there was a mini box in the next room that you could watch sky on,  but since had sky bb can get sky and bb in all rooms but with master box off outside the bb is only 2-3 meg but turn it on and that goes up to 20 meg+ so it definitely helps by why the pucks can't do this I don't know it's a good selling point and if you need so good bb to watch it 4 k in any room it would help to boost the bb Signal so you get best experience !  Or that what I think anyway, the puck can't be much different than mini box I bet and could have been easily added it's only a chip inside when sky developed the new punk ?

It happens on lots of different channels and tried turning series link off and deleting all shows then adding only one series link and letting record for a few weeks and happens again even had new box and rebooted epg and reinstalled the system like format hd and house keeping etc must be on phone good few hours to sort this and been like it for about for 2-3 + years at least as far  as I can remember . Was hoping this old issues would be fixed by now! 🤨🧐🤔

Yer as long as things get fixed asap ! We don't mind being early adopters but q is not idea we think still 🤔🧐🤨😡  .  Yer we need a report button or way to summit our feedback maybe in sky app ?

Is it not possible  to have playlist set up ecactly like sky Q but have a second option that allows you to watch all previous  episodes. I think that would make things simpler. So the current episode is more prominent and once its watched it gets added to series  and we dont loose track of were we are up to. Especially seeing as we're transitioning for Q or + to glass. Imho glass is fantastic  but playlist is over complicated. @John4042
