I had a text to say sky have sent packaging for me to return my Sky q boxes but I haven't recieved them yet. How long does this normally take?

You can send back your equipment back in any packaging you have, as the help pages explain here.
Save waiting for the packaging to arrive,
Return or recycle your Sky equipment | Sky Help | Sky.com
Important:
Make sure when you return your equipment that you keep a copy of the returns receipt.

I can but was told to use the packaging being sent with all the returns notice enclosed.
