On sick

  • I am on the sick and possibly be for 3-5 months what do I do to pay my bill if only on sick pay

If you normally pay by Direct Debit and it fails on the normal due date, Sky will try again 10 calendar days later. If that also fails an automated process starts whereby your services start being restricted. Be aware that we’ve been told that Skys Customer Service agents can’t stop that automated process.
We’ve also been told Sky don’t allow payment plans (except on a legitimately closed account) or promises to pay. Being off sick unfortunately has no bearing.

@Love+the+dream if you're saying you might struggle to pay, best to give Sky a ring now to see if they can help at all - they may not be able to if you're in contract. 

 

Don't leave it until you're in arrears as the likelihood of them being able to do anything for you then diminishes further.
