No satellite signal since doing a settings reset

• Hi I was having some pictures quality issues with HD channels only and I was told by the sky operator to try a settings reset but since then I have no satellite signal and have tried everything but no luck...engineer booked but its gonna take a week...

Please can u help....

Hi its communal.....And our neighbours is working fine...its only since we carried out a settings reset that is fault appeared....I was only looking for some help with the HD channel picture quality...now I have this problem.....

hi @Rocky6969 in which case the reset may have reset your Box's LNB setting as well

Go into the engineer's panel again 

Scroll to Settings but do NOT press Enter/Select at this point

Press 0 0 1 Enter/Select

In Setup the LNB for Communal Systems should be SCR not wideband so scroll accross & set this 

Back up out & then place in Stanby to make sure this setting takes effect  (I can't remember if you also have to briefly remove power or not) 

Power back on & hopefully you will have the unaffected channels back

@Rocky6969It is not a fault when you do a full reset it reverts to the settings for the LNB used for your own dish, you need to go into settings and change the LNB settings, there are only two choices you need the other one.

Just to clarify, none of us on here work for Sky (other than those clearly identified as such)! Although we should be salaried, the amount of work we do to save Sky having to do it... 😏

Yea sorry dudes...just realised that when a couple of people replied.....I just can't believe that 2  supposed technical sky people never copped on that this was the case after a reset and I told both of them I had a shared dish and my neighbours worked fine....its totally unbelievable and unacceptable  with the amount we pay monthly.....Thanks again folks....now I can enjoy the final too.....

The more I think about this is I could have been waiting until Thursday to get a so called engineer out to my house to tick a box that 2 telephone tech people could figure out! If this happened to me as a motor technician! I would be sacked!!
