Cant watch catch up

Recently gone back to Sky. Have Sky Q HD box with basic £27 a month package

 

Whenever I try to watch anything on catch.up I  can't and it prompts I Ha e to upgrade to HD which is free for 2 months then £7 a month

 

Spoke to Sky and was told I needed better broadband although it seems fine for netflix no download waiting 

 

Is this right as I  can see this getting expensive

hi @RCS4976 

 

The default download quality is set to HD (high Definition) not SD so when you try to download and watch you are prompted to upgrade (i.e. take out the HD subscription)

You don't need to upgrade.

You just need to change your download preference to SD

Main Menu -> Settings -> Setup -> Preferences

The uselessness people are faced with over the phone sometimes makes me so cross when this should be the first default answer to those who cannot download...
