No power to sky+ Box
Came home tonight and my sky + box has no power at all. I've left unplugged. Sky have said I need a brand new box and contract. Way dearer than current contract. Any suggestions

Re: No power to sky+ Box
@Mrswoman33 You could pick up a secondhand box from that well known auction site
43" Glass TV & Puck Whole Home
Please note I only provide help on the main forums and not via PM, PM's are switched off.
Samsung 75" 4K TV, Sky Glass Gen 2 55", Sky Stream, EE FTTC Broadband, Three 5G Broadband (Backup), Sony 7.1 AV Receiver, Technisat MultiSat receiver.

Re: No power to sky+ Box
There are no new Sky+ boxes - the last ones were made in around 2015. You could buy your own used replacement quite cheaply from ebay etc. Just choose either a model DRX890 or DRX895, as they're the most recent. No need to change your subscription package or sign up to a new contract.
Or you could see if you can get a deal from Sky on upgrading to Sky Q?
