Re: New Update is now out.

My motion sensor seems to work, I believe if you been away for a while it turns off and when return turns on.  However my voice control is not working can only do voice control via the remote.  Rebooted no change

Re: New Update is now out.

Both my motion sensing and voice seems to working correctly on Glass, might be worth doing a power off and reboot to get voice working again, I've had success with this when voice control not working in past.

@threxr check thst the physical mic button on the side of the TV is not pressed in as that disables the far field mic.

Re: New Update is now out.

My Glass TV has reverted its firmware to 1.15.  Anyone else found this?

Re: New Update is now out.

Some positive things regarding this update and no issues so far.

It would be nice if Sky could upgrade the Disney+ app to support Dolby Vision.

Re: New Update is now out.

@nogimmix totally agree - I tend to use my Xbox One X for Disney+ to get Dolby Atmos/Dolby Vision. It is not the end of the world but not the most convenient way... As far as I know Prime Video has only a few TV Series/Movies stramed with Dolby Atmos/Dolby Vision - so updating the Primer Video app is not an urgency - but Disney+ would be more favourable...

So, it appears my first forced software update may have been somewhat flakey.

I had to force another software update and go through all the setup options again, however this time I had to log back into everything, whereas before I could still use my previous credentials.

It was also much quicker this time, almost like it was using a cached file to update the firmware rather than download it again.

I've taken pictures now, just so I'm not going mad,  incase it happens again.

@Jayboy1990  Had a chance to see if anything has changed with netflix yet ?

Can't test the new version until tonight I was at work at the crack of dawn this morning.

Did the version number change ?

Netflix software version is now - 1.8.3.5

So has changed, I haven't done a long binge as yet, but will report back if it still crashes out.

Re: New Update is now out.

@nogimmix it's not Sky that needs to update the Disney+ App, its Disney.  Sky are working with them to make it happen!! - if they can.

Re: New Update is now out.

I've noticed another issue with the Enhance Speech option. Although the setting now stays on when you put the set in standby, you can hear it's not actually on when you turn the set back on. You have to toggle the setting to get the Enhance Speech working again.

Re: New Update is now out.

@nogimmix worth pointing out that if you have one, Chromecast with Google TV supports Dolby Atmos and 4K and also allows access to Disney+.
