Re: New Update is now out.

Hope this helps if anyone wants to avoid a reset just to get the update..

I just refreshed the apps under the resets and updates menu and that pulled everything through for me.

Re: New Update is now out.

I've been updating my pucks by doing a hard reset - holding down the power button on the puck for 20 sec

just get to an updating software screen that says connecting, then downloading - Though on our bedroom TV nothing will download and it's just stuck

worked out fine in the kitchen - Though the whole process seems really clunky

Re: New Update is now out.

Folks, be carefull what you wish for!  I had cause to phone Sky this evening regarding an issue with it not identifying an HDMI cable in the HDMI 2 slot (for eARC).  They took me through various scripts but told me I was on the wrong software version (my TV was showing 2.08.0P) and have ordered me a new TV to arrive on Monday!?  Sky appears to be in a bit of a shambles at the moment as every update of software is news to the support teams and comes with its own set of foibles & (un) helpful 'features'!?  The eARC feature was working before the latest update even if it reset to 'internal speakers' when I switched off the Glass TV and had to be set up for HDMI eARC again each time I switched it back on.

Puck is updated and it loads up much faster from standby.

Re: New Update is now out.

@GD1

I don't want to get too excited but I've not had one slowdown/speedup picture glitch on the puck since the update. Think this is the longest it's went without a glitch since I got it lol.

seems more responsive too when changing channels etc and in general but let's see how it goes.
