Re: New Firmware QS012 - support for bluetooth head sets.
I have noticed a new bug with QS012.010.00P
Sometimes when clicking watch live tab from within playlist when it's doing an active recording this can result sky glass getting stuck as in freezing
This in regards watch live tab from within playlist only and not when you click on content in play now rail
As in the watch live tab does nothing at first then system freezes
When this happens you cant use remote or use even the power button on sky glass itself to power off
You have then to do a unplug to reboot sky glass
Note this don't happen everytime when clicking watch live tab from within playlist but only sometimes happens so it's random when it will happen
I had this happen yesterday with Premier Sports live Man City v Fulham (Republic of Ireland broadcast only as UK don't get Premier Sports channels) and Sky Sports Premier League Saturday Night Footbal Everton v Leicester when clicking watch live in each playlist
Also happened today with BT Sports Chelsea v Arsenal
I not had this issue with sky firmware QS011 or previous firmware so for me it's a new bug
The issue though of doing a unplug of sky glass while a program you added to playlist is doing an active recording sometimes that can result in part recording been done
That happened with Premier Sports live Man City v Fulham
Sky Glass 65 inch and 2 Sky Stream Pucks
Gigabit Siro 100% Fiber Broadband with Digiweb
1000 Mbps download and 200 Mbps upload speed
I only use wired ethernet with Sky Glass and Sky Stream Pucks

Doing an unplug whilst an 'active recording' is taking place should have no impact as there is no physical recording taking place anywhere inside Glass. All 'recording' takes place directly on cloud servers and you merely stream it from there.

Re: New Firmware QS012 - support for bluetooth head sets.
Doing a unplug of sky glass while it's a live broadcast can affect a recording been done correctely in your playlist
It can vary as to when that will happen as in how you do a power off sky glass at mains
Sky glass playlist based on customer account to what is stored on sky cloud server
An interuption of power while a live broadcast is recording to your account can cause part recording sometimes
The new bug in regards watch live tab from playlist random causing freezing on sky glass not the above
Sky Glass 65 inch and 2 Sky Stream Pucks
Gigabit Siro 100% Fiber Broadband with Digiweb
1000 Mbps download and 200 Mbps upload speed
I only use wired ethernet with Sky Glass and Sky Stream Pucks

Well that doesn't make any sense at all (not uncommon with Sky) because once things are bookmarked to your playlist the availability trigger will just be 'pushed' to your Glass/Stream playlist once the 'recording' is complete or the file is available to stream.
Whether your Glass/Stream is powered off or not should have no impact. If there is an impact then it's just one of the many other glitches with the playlist, particularly when it comes to sport, and why it's best avoided IMHO.

Re: New Firmware QS012 - support for bluetooth head sets.
Live sports broadcast you add to plalylist for your account is a recording
That why it list recording while it's a live broadcast to a server allocated to your account
I had a few live sports result in part recording if I did a power off at mains while it a live broadcast so that does happen
Do you have Sky Sport and BT Sports subscription
Republic of Ireland Sports Extra subscription is BT Sports and Premier Sports
There is two types of powering off sky glass at mains
Unplugging at mains while sky glass is on standby mode or powering off at mains while it's not in standby mode these are different type boot up of sky glass system
On demand you add to playlist is not a recordings that's something already stored on sky cloud server
The new bug is about what's listed below
The new bug is in regards to clicking watch live tab from playlist causing sky glass to freeze and then having unplug and plug back to mains to reboot sky glass you will see sky logo when in that mode on a reboot
The watch live tab bug It only happen random times not everytime

Re: New Firmware QS012 - support for bluetooth head sets.
OK. I think I've got that. It's clearly an issue with how Sky make these live 'recordings' on their server and how (why?!) your Glass communicates with the server during them.
I'm just glad that...
A) I don't own Glass
B) I don't watch sport
C) I don't use the playlist on Stream
D) I don't use Stream to do much actually
so have never come across these issues.

Re: New Firmware QS012 - support for bluetooth head sets.
I didnt have the upgrade, so I ran the force upgrade as detailed by Sky. It worked a dream, I now have the latest version, I will say, I got my Air Pod Pro's paired but they are vey quiet, I more or less had to have the volume up all the way to hear them through the pods.
