Anyone else disturbed by the fact that the word J e w s has been replaced by *bleep*? Clearly there is no need for such censorship. I'm believing this is on the part of Sky and not the poster.
Definitely nothing to do with me, tbh, I hadn't even noticed. I knew I couldn't have the word that refers to a particular German political party of that period, hence the asterisks, but I had no idea the other word would be an issue. Down to the spam filter, I guess, but you're right @73mckat, it shouldn't be so.

I actually think it's disgraceful.
Any idea if Sky themselves read these forum pages?

@73mckat Yes, they do read these pages, but as it is a customer-based forum they don't really post much themselves. I have brought this issue of banned words up on a hidden part of the forum that I'm part of. I was told by a Sky moderator that it is the spam filter that is the cause. Previously, a post with a banned word would have been removed. Now, it will be allowed but have the *bleep* instead. I left a reply saying that the word J e w s ( which as you know can still be used by using spacing, so what's the point in having banned words? ) should surely be removed from the banned words list. I haven't heard anything since.
