NFL for NFL season only

Hello,

I am looking at how to watch NFL games for the season only (Sept to Dec inclusive).  I already pay for NFL Gamepass, but in their wisdom, if the game is shown on sky then it's blacked out of Gamepass and you can't watch it.  So I am having to pay twice.  First problem is I can't work out what channels I need.  I see there is a sky NFL channel, but I'm sure games have been on other channels in the past, but as the season hasn't started I can't work out what I need as those channels aren't showing.

Then is the question of how I can get those channels for only 3-4 months.  Current 18 month contract with the bare minimum package is up in March.  I'd be grateful for advice & suggestions.  I don't want to be committed to an 18month sports packaged for something only needed for 4 months max.  Thanks.

Sky does allow Sky Sports subscriptions with a 31 days rolling contract but you would pay more for this than you would if you signed up to a 18 month contract. Another possible solution might be NowTV which is run separately but is another Sky owned company.

@Rufty10  If you wanted to add it to your tv subscription then you would need the sky's sports action (nfl)/arena pack

Personally I would opt for Now TV as the best option cost wise

Re: NFL for NFL season only

Thank you.  I am confused about the channels as listed under the regular 18month Sky sports channels is sky sports NFL.  But as you say, I was sure I'd seen the games on other channels last season.

Re: NFL for NFL season only

Thank you.  We only need it for Sept-Dec so imagine that would be cheaper than an 18month contract.  We are only contracted for Sky generally until March anyway, so not sure how taking an 18 month sports contact would work?  I can't see any way to contact someone on line nowadays either to ask.  Fortunately there are the helpful people on here.

If it is like last year, then sky nfl will have all the games on sky. (the only exception last year when because of postponement, 2 matches were on a Monday)

Sky sports mix show red zone on a Sunday night but this is part ov sky signature pack (the entertainment pack)

Sky sports main event showed matches too but these are simulcast with sky sports nfl (the only exception was 2 on a Monday when sky sports main event showed one and sky sports nfl showed the other)

Sky one and sky sports mix showed occasional matches last year but these were short notice and nothing to guarantee they would again.

I think Now tv works best, and easier to cancel when no longer needed

Best of luck in whatever you decide to do

Passing on the tips I have learned in over 25 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.
