My first Sky bill

I have just had my first Sky bill. I joined online. It is £48.75 per month for landline, broadband and calls.

This is not quite what it said online,  has anyone else had this trouble please. I left Sky some years ago

because of their billing vagueness.

I left BT because their same bill was over £40 per month, I simply would not sign up at the same price!

The first two bills are always higher due to the date period they cover as you can read about here, halfway down the page here:

So have you checked your future bills to see what they show:

This is not correct, my first bill was a bit less because it was part of a month. My next bill, second month, was £48plus and my future bill is the same.

This is not what we signed up for. My son has just double checked this. 

I will contact Sky on my return from France, if need be I will send it all back.

You haven't said what your bill should be so it might be that your future bills which as this stage are just estimates will updated over the coming weeks but if you want to call when you return from France the free number to use is just 150 for your lanline phone.

My unlimited broadband and call were £26 per month for two years.

I purchased a Skyglass television and minimum tele package which has been paid and correct

If you believe the billing to be wrong then give Sky a call when you are back in the UK.
