Hello,
Im going insane...my two mini boxes haven't been able to obtain IP addresses for a very long time now. I recently changed to a Smart Hub 2 and since then they simply refuse to work, even after switching Smart Setup off.
Last night I went back to the old BT router in the hope I'd see the issue fixed, however, it's the same exact issue, and I've had to sacrifice my BT Booster Disc as the router isn't comparable.
Also since changing to the Smart Hub 2, I found myself needing to put the password in every day as the internet kept disconnected from Sky Q.
Attempted to call Sky directly but they haven't got any humans to speak to, any help would be greatly appreciated as this is simply unacceptable for the money I pay.

This issue doesn't appear to have been solved and just saying it is doesn't make it so. I have also had these issues for months - Sky NEVER solves them it just waits until people go away! Come on Sky you have IP issues and network connectivity problems all over the net, sort out your tech and service or risk losing a vast amount of business to the competition and permanently damaging what's left of your brand - you are no longer the only show in town 😡

Agree with above 100% - Shameful behaviour by sky when issue not resolved
- if it is, post resolution below ... lol ( I' m not laughing)
Much the same pattern as everyone else everything fine for a year then suddenly main q or mini box won't connect - or hold an ip address- I'm technically astute to a point and tried everything under the sun both logical and illogical

Turn the booster box off and on. Once it shows three yellow lights try again.
It worked for me.

Thank you, you have solved my problem. I had tried rebooting everything else, but not the booster.
A week with no SKY on mini box solved by you 👍
