That would be the logical answer but who knows with Sky. Despite there being many cases of this type of thing on the forum we have never had any answer from Sky as to whats going on behind the curtain.

Re: Just had Ultrafast installed this morning.......
Well thanks again one and all.
Looks like I'll just have to wait and monitor for a couple of days. It's hard to imagine I'll suddenly start getting speeds in the high 90's or or low 100's though which is what I was ready to settle for when I switched from Virgin but we'll see. If it stays like it is though I'll have no choice but to stay with virgin for my BB and just stick with Sky for the TV which will push up the price overall by quite a lot.

Well I'm pleased to say I have a very positive update re this issue. During the install yesterday, it became quickly apparant that the RJ11 lead that connects from the GFast socket to the sky hub was not long enough to reach where I wanted to put the router. It wasn't a great distance but the lead was no more than about 2 metres long. The Openreach chap very kindly went out to his van and came back with a slightly longer one that did the job but I did notice that both leads were a little cheap looking with very thin cabling. After the speed issues yesterday, I ordered a £10 better quality 4 metre lead from Amazon that had good reviews.
So this morning before it arrived I was still getting download speeds of no more then 37 mb/s. The lead arrived about an hour ago, swapped it over and hey presto 140mb/s downloads instantly.
Problem solved, at a stroke. I'm now running my SKY Q box, two minis and countless other devices effortlessly, including streaming 4k HDR on netflix and amazon withoutany buffering
Happy days!
