Issues with tv guide
On my TV guide, channel 5 is not showing properly. All is has is This is Channel 5 running all the way through it. This has obviously had an affect on recording.....especially those on series link. It has been an issue for a couple of days now. Have tried the planner rebuild but that has not worked. I do have an old sky plus box

Re: Issues with tv guide
Guess it must be a hardware fault then

Re: Issues with tv guide
@Annie+UK why would it affect only one channel and what's the options from here? O don't want to lose my recordings as my planner is quite full

Re: Issues with tv guide
Things that break are not always logical, Ch5 is working so must be something unique to your setup

Re: Issues with tv guide
I'm having the same issues too. Channel 5 HD has the listings but +1 and the standard definition channel don't and I don't have much space on my box to record in HD. This surely can't be a hardware specific problem on more than one box??

Re: Issues with tv guide
@AngelAmy Mine is the other way round, Ch5+1 is ok but Ch5 is not working. It can't be a coincidence that we are both having a problem with similar channels

Re: Issues with tv guide
My Channel 5 HD on 105 is fine but +1 on 205 and SD on 805 is also showing the "This is Channel 5" message, this has happned before with channels on the Sky platform so hopefully will be fixed soon enough.

Re: Issues with tv guide
@caesarome so it sounds like a Sky issue and not a box issue then. Fingers crossed that it gets fixed as it has thrown all my series link for that channel out the water.
Thanks

Re: Issues with tv guide
I'm having the same issue. Channel 5 HD channel listing showing perfectly as are Channel 5 + 1 on Channel 205, but am just seeing This is Channel 5 on Channel 5 SD Channel 805. Again, like others causing recording issues. This is definitely not a coincidence, it must be something to do with Sky listings as this only started today 19th October. Sky please look into this and fix it.

Channel 5 saying This is Channel 5
Hello,
From this morning 19th October 2020, I cannot see Channel 5 listings on my EPG for Channel 805 as it says for the week is "This is Channel 5". When watching channel programmes are there, but with no listings showing cannot set anything up to record. Channel 5 HD 105 and Channel 5 + 1 205 are showing their listings correctly. From looking through the forum, this seems to be a common problem at the moment. I have completed a planner rebuild and a reboot but nothing has changed. I can only assume this is a Channel 5 SD channel issue or a Sky issue as it does not seem to be my box, as all other channels are showing in the EPG without an issue. Please look into this and provide a fix asap.

Re: Issues with tv guide
Definitely a Sky problem then....nothing to do with our set top boxes, hopefully they will get this sorted
