Can’t connect sky+ HD box to broadband router. So no catch up tv/on Demand

I've tried all online help from sky to connect to my I can't use an Ethernet cable as it won't reach. Tried WPS button Idea but don't have one on my SKY+HD BOX. Suggested ordering a Sky Demand connector from Sky but no longer available. 

Any ideas?.

@Florence29 there are several options. The simplest is probably to look for a second hand On Demand Connector. There are usually a few for sale on ebay.
