Do you have a sky q satellite box or sky +hd?

If you have a sky signature package on demand content is downloaded in standard definition. Sky hd and uhd are paid addons

As far as i remember

Catch-up/On-demand: 

• Free-to-air channels and Sky Signature channels require a Sky Signature subscription to watch catch-up/on-demand content. (Not sure if the likes of BBC iPlayer or ITV Hub work without a Sky Viewing Card)
• Content from channels on the Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, BT Sport, Sky Kids (etc.) packs shows that are available through catch-up/on-demand require the relevant subscription.
• HD content requires the HD pack (excl BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All4 UK, etc.).

Sky Store:

• Content through the Sky Store may or may not be free depending if it's included with your subscription.
• The likes of a Sky Store movie requires a payment.
• Some series/box-sets are included with a Sky Signature subscription, some may not be.

Apps:

• Peacock is free with a Sky Signature subscription
• Netflix is free with a Sky TV subscription on Sky Glass only.
• Discovery+ is free for 12 to 18 months for Sky VIP customers on Sky Q only.
• Red Bull TV, YouTube, YouTube Kids, Spotify (etc.) are free. (Spotify has an optional subscription through Spotify directly)
• Apple+ TV, Netflix (on Sky Q), Disney+ (etc.) are paid services. Some of these can be sunscribed to directly with the supplier or through Sky (e.g. Netflix, Disney+)
