Intermittent Wifi Dropout and slow connection

Hi.

SKY Broadband Superfast

Running an SR102 router, I've had this for many years.  I've had repeated connection dropouts on wifi for some time.  Even on the laptop and TV that are no more than 2 meters from the router.

I tried adding the sky WiFi booster, that I was sent several years ago, this has made no difference

Recently had cable from house to pole replaced and a couple of other faults the BT engineer diagnosed repaired.  Engineeer also replaced the master socket

I'm using a single high quality cable from master socket to router.

I've disconnected and reconnedted the cables, this had made no difference.

Router and all devices have been rebooted and power cycled.

I'm still getting wifi dropouts, on several devices not just one device.

Also getting intermittent slow speed, down to less than 3mbs occording to a broadband speed test that I  just completed.

Thanks

Gavin

That is a very old hub with only 2.4ghz wifi and therefore prone to interference.

Can you post your hub stats

Forgot to add I've also tried changing the channel manually as well as having it set on Auto.

Well after 45 minutes on the phone.

I declined their offer to sell me Broadband Boost!

Asked for a new hub, their reply was we don't make that one anymore!  So I asked for the replacement model which seemed to confuse them a bit.

Now they have arranged for an engineer to visit on Thursday.  So we'll see how that goes.

Thanks @cookiemonsteruk
