Sky only sell Sky+ subscriptions if you cannot possibly have Sky Q installed so you'll need to talk to sky

@Babyaslan There are plenty of discussions on a similar topic. Although i'm not clear on whether you want to tie the viewing card at your new address to a new Sky subscription or whether you want a new sky subscription complete with new viewing card which you then want to use in the +hd box ?

@Annie+UK I see you included some tiny url shortened links to your own Sky+ help pages. But, i couldn't help notice that the pages these url's resolve to are on "http". Now i know are not asking folks to log in or give away personal information. But, it isn't best to be encouraging users onto insecure sites.

With no data passing to or from my server there is no point in using HTTPS, my setup would not benifit from this in any way what-so-ever, my FAQ is a not for profit hobby and I run it out of my own pocket, the server is run from a £35 single board computer using free software
BTW, you are the first person that has mentioned this in the many years of me providing this information, that 1,000's of people have found very useful

I'm sure lots of sky customers have found your information useful . But, there is a wide range of IT/cyber skills out there in the customers on this forum. And the world is moving towards https rather than http. And i know that this alone won't protect folks from exploitation. But, even NCSC recommend https for web sites that don't store/process personal information. And the behaviour needed to help individuals and companies keeping safe is to avoid http sites.
My worry is that as oracle you are seen as an authoritative and trusted source. And for those more vulnerable customers who don't have the ability to recognise the difference between your site and one that does process/store personal data then they will remember that http was ok because a Sky oracle uses it. Now aided by the fact that browsers give you that friendly "not secure" warning. Could you not get Sky to help with sorting out a certificate, as you say you are doing this not for profit ? The world needs more raspberry pis - other single board computers are available.
