Hello! I've had sky+ for years and all of a sudden I cannot record one channel and watch another. I have two inputs going into the box.
I've Rebuilt the box using Sevices/001 and tried switching single feed mode on/off and neither works. I've tried taking out both the inputs and screwing them back in, and still there's an issue.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks!
PS, hope you're keeping well during this difficult time!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you have two inputs going into the box then the single feed mode needs to be set to off.
What are your signal strengths like, this can be found via services > settings > signal. The white bars need to be at least half way across on both inputs.

Hello,
I've got the same issue as the original post... Have had Sky+ for years & then recently i cannot record 1 channel whilst watvhing another?
Have done a full reset on the box & have ensured both inputs are in at the back of the box.
Have seen the suggested reply about making sure the 'single feed mode' is switched to off... how would i do this?
All my signal strengths are pretty much at full white bars.
Thanks,

Ah, this is helpful. Thank you. My output for input 2 has dropped to zero. Sounds like I might need an engineer to come out. Is this what you would suggest? It seems from similar issues this is the only option...
thank you again for your help.

There is an option in the hidden menu (SERVICES, 0, 0, 1, SELECT)

I followed Annie's answer to this problem Click on Services 0.0.1 Select and switch Single feed mode to off. It works. I rang Sky and asked how to sort this problem out and was told I needed two cables fitting into the back of my hd box. I have been with Sky over thirteen years and NEVER had two cables.

Tried to search to check single mode status.
Went to Services - What then, Settings?
Have same issues as above and cannot record two other channels when watching another.
Quickly checked signal strength - 1 ok but 2 blank?

Thank-you for reply.
Tried what you said and still no luck.
Looks like I will have to ring Sky.
