I am completly done with sky

What a large company does for its customers? Absolute nothing. First of all its not possible to contact them. There are phone numbers but there is no answer. In all my attempts i got through once.

I have tried to cancel my subscription: No avail.

Sky has doubled my monthly subscription in the meantime.

the only thing i could have done is contact a competitor and subscribe with them.

This is what i have done. My subscription with Sky has terminated (i thought), when my subscription with Vodaphone started.

Sky now has contacted me numerous of times to pay an outstanding bill as well as equipment that i need to send back (was send backe the same day i got a new provider)

There is no explanation just an amount.

I refuse to pay. and the amount is increasing every week.

this is by far the worse company i have dealt with in my life.

Is there anyone who has the same problem?

@Rudi+W  If you have Sky TV then Vodaphone cannot take that over and you do need to give 31 days notice for that to end.

If your broadband has transferred to Vodapahione this would end your Broadband/talk service only.  Your post doesn't say which services you have with Sky so some clarification would be helpful.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: I am completly done with sky

we have tv and broadband package.

we asked/contacted sky via email. mail, chat, facebook at numerous occasions but no avail.

i then asked vodafone to subscribe and our contract with sky would be terminated as soon as we had vodafone in place. this after our initial year with sky, so our contract was up.

i have never been in a situation where im treated this way. im going to launch a campaign against this kind of behaviour if sky fails to act.

Your contract is not 'up' until you give notice to cancel - the only thing that changes is the discounts.  TV contracts are usually 18 months and you cannot cancel early.

Another firm can only perform a takeover for an OpenReach broadband line.

For the equipment issue I have escalated your post to Sky who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.

This link explains how this works:

When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.

@Rudi+W  Unless you gave sky the relevant notice period (31 days for tv / 14 days for broadband) and have received email confirmation from sky that your services are cancelled then your sky services won't have been cancelled as Vodafone can't do this for you

so do you have any email confirmation of cancellation from sky, if not you will need to contact sky again to cancel

The minimum contract period for Sky products, during which discount subscription rates and penalty fees for cancellation apply, is typically 18 months, not one year.

Re: I am completly done with sky

that is a lot of balloney. My contract states one year (12. months). Im all for these 'community' chats, but please make sure you know what you are saying.

Furthermore my contract also stippulates that skysport. can be cancelled any time. I have not been able to do this since taking sky sport.

Which is why @TimmyBGood said typically and I said usually.  Clearly we do not know and cannot see what contract you agreed.

The link I posted works fine, you should see a chat bubble at the bottom of this page somewhere so it is up to you now if you want to respond to Sky for help with this.
