Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?
Glad we watched live as the 'recording' for todays race is not yet available. If you'd one out today, it's not unrealistic to want to watch it at 18:00.

Similar issues with guessing when the football will be available. It's really not good enough.

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?
We tried to add the F1 race as out of the house, only thing available is highlights later, and as a previous poster added, we know who has won due to the news snippets.
Not what we want at all, we want to be able to highlight to watch later and not to be given the result before having a chance to see it.
Whoever has 'designed' this system does not seem to understand what people want.

Well said, couldn't agree more! I actually wonder if whoever is working on the interface is even a sports fan and has access to Glass, I can't understand why they would think this is acceptable...

And that's the massive source of frustration - these feel like software issues which should be relatively easy to fix. Especially the news snippets.

Oh wow!
Couldn't be more annoyed.
Whole family settled down to watch the F1 race.
Not in playlist.
Spend ten minutes searching through everything but.
Check this forum to see it's a known issue for Sky Glass.
Fuming.
No warning from Sky that the race won't be available.
Stupid Sky sports part of listings shows the results anyway!
I've phoned customer services and be told they are working on it.
Advised I want a refund for Sports this month and if not fixed by next weekend they can have it all back.

I'd be amazed if they fixed it in a week. The same issues for trying to watch football ever since Glass started. Sky's own content and it is a mess.

They won't fix it ever let alone by next weekend, if you can get out of your contract do it, nothing has got better, nothing will, you will just feel more and more like a mug for paying them for such absolute rubbish.

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?
Pretty poor so far and only one race in to the season. I've got Sky Glass 55" with Atmos and UHD. I'm having to pay £25 per month for the full sports package just so I can watch F1 (not bothered about football, cricket etc) and getting a sh@t service. FP2 & 3 "recorded" but not FP1, Qualifying not recorded, had to stay up until midnight to watch the replay. Went to watch the pre race show today, guess what, not recorded, gave up with that and decided to restart the live race from the start ( PUT MUTE ON AND CLOSED MY EYES TO AVOID SEEING THE RESULT) was watching the race until the screen went black and all trace of the race was lost! Not recorded along with all the other things.. tried setting default to HD but it didn't work. Now having to wait until 7:00 pm for the re-run. I will be on the phone to Sky tomorrow when I have calmed down to complain. If its going to be this unreliable I might as well watch covereage on Channel 4 for free

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?
You will al;l be waiting a ;one time for a fix as sky has no idea what the issue is. Been on the phone with sky for the last hour all they keep telling me is the 25 pounds i pay per month is for live sport and does not cover sport in my Play list. Keep getting told it has something to do with licence agreement. Which seems to have changed from last season.
Rather than try and fix the issue they have allowed me to cancel the whole account absolute disgrace

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?
@M83rry I'm in exact the same situation, I only watch F1 and pretty much the only reason I have Sky.
To say it's a rights issues is **bleep**, Sky have pretty much an exclusive contract with F1 Liberty Media.
I paid for my TV upfront, so now wondering if I'm going to be left with a dead duck of a TV. If it's not fixed within the next few races I'm probably going to go back to Sky Q, or just bin Sky off. My mate got a great deal with Virgin Media including Sky Sports.
I'm sure OFCOM will have something to say about false advertising too.
The ability to watch instantly from playlists is plastered all over as one of the main marketing pulls for it.

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?
The fact it worked much better for the race I hope suggest it was a tech issue yesterday.
Virgin Gig 1 Broadband / Starlink
Glass 55 (Blue) & 5 pucks (all Ethernet) Previously Sky Q and Sky HD (since 98).

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?
Spoke in more detail with viewer relations who confirmed it has nothing to do with licences issues, and it is most definitely a technical fault which they are trying to resolve but have no idea how long this will take. As they have no idea how long it will take to fix they are not prepared to give a loss of viewing credit. And as there is no contract on Sky Glass TV packages they are not prepared or willing to give a discount on Sky sports. So its very much a case of put up with the lack of play list features or cancel Sky Sports or indeed they whole sky package.
Beginning to wonder if its time for us all to contact OFFCOM and see what there take on the situation is ?

Re: How is the new F1 season going so far, any issues?
I wish I could change to Virgin, but I can't because our road is cobbled. The lazy f##kers at Virgin will dig it up to lay the cables but they won't relay the cobbles! The last street I lived in had dark red tarmac pavements, Virgin layed cables but refilled the trenches with black tarmac! Medway Council made them come back and do it properly
