My ex and I separated in 2012 and since then I have taken over direct debit, however I have had various issues over the years for which I cannot resolve as I am not the account holder, my ex has given me the password but they say its the wrong one, he has even called to confirm he Is no longer the account payer so could it be transferred. Still unable to do anything. Unable to get through to sky at all now, any contact being blocked as I'm not the account holder. Can anyone suggest a way around this.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe account holders name can not be changed so if your ex is this then they will have to phone in to cancel if they are not in a contract and this will then allow you to sign up in your name as a new customer.

Thankyou Daniel, would it be possible to just cancel my direct debit?
