Re: Have a reminder function for programmes

Really miss the reminder feature and it somewhat spoils an otherwise great box. Please bring back reminders as it's real bonus for me as I sometimes forget about programmes I want to watch and not record.

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes

Hello All   I think the petition is a nice idea I have posted many times about the Reminder Option being missing

from SkyQ but I am afraid to say I doubt very much if it will make any difference  Sky are now a

corporate giant with millions of customers & they don't really care what the Customers think.......🍋 !!!!!

believe Me,  All this talk about 'Feedback' from customers is always welcome  but only if they agree

with it they mean  They know full well that you have limited options regarding TV choice  (Freeview,

BT  or Virgin )  which is why they are able to increase prices at will  ( HD) which should be standard now

was increased in the last price rise.  So despite a very well-intentioned  document 'Don't Hold Your Breath'

I have been with Sky since before digital & have written emailed many times along with many other customers

about various subjects and have never received anything other than the standard crib board reply  plus as HDL1

states some don't even understand the question ..............   Just a Thought   Stay Safe    .

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes

I have emailed them again.

I’m not letting this go.

This is now a matter of discrimination for someone with visual and/or memory impairment.

As a disabled person with memory impairment you are effectively discriminating against me and others.

The Equality Act 2010 and UN Convention

The Equality Act 2010 protects you from discrimination. It provides legal rights for you in the areas of: access to goods, services and facilities.

I am now consulting with the Office of Disability Issues and will raise this on all social media platforms.

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes

I wish I had known this before I downgraded to Sky Q

Biggest mistake Sky has made having no reminder I have had Sky Q 1 month and still miss the great benefits of the reminder please rethink this.

I will be leaving Sky when my contract ends.

Reminder button

Would be good to have reminder button on Sky Q as I used it a lot. Memory not as good as it used to be.

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes

We've had Sky Q a few months and find it very hard to see what else is on while watching a show. We never did find the REMINDER button and now find out the youngsters at Sky have deleted it!! Sky thinks we are only interested in recording everything and watching it later. Wife and I are both retired and we watch a LOT of live broadcasts. Very dissapointed with Sky Q.  Sky+ was much easier and more convenient to use. We think Q is aimed at the young (what isn't?). We don't to record six programs concurrently at the expense of poor live tv functionality. Struggling to get the Sky box to start up (with or without sound) is another regular problem. Give us back our SKY+....

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes

We've complained about SKY Q functionality but in fairness recent signal problems caused by huge and unmaintained local authority trees have been dealt with brilliantly by SKY engineers. They resited our dish twice, always called promptly and were really helpful and efficient. One of us is on the At Risk register and shielded since late March so the TV is fairly vital. Well done Sky service.

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes

Just my opinion but it seems Sky, BBC and the rest of the media are only interested in what the young (say 35 or younger) want. So they only poll them. The young want to record and watch at their convenience so Sky decided the live tv reminder was obsolete. They are in effect saying middle age and older folk are also obsolete, insulting a big chunk of their loyal customers.

That's fine Sky. But in a couple years when something better comes along, you're history.

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes

Hello andromeda 1721  I am afraid you are right but Sky don't really give a monkey's about

The threat of a few people maybe hundreds leaving because they will just stick out some

Special offers as usual & gather some replacements length of commitment time with sky

Means absolutely  nothing it's just about the numbers if there was a decent reliable alternative

Me and many others would have taken it, Sky used to be a really good customer focused

Company but that is long gone  surprise  surprise ..............🎈

Just aThought .........Stay Safe   🇬🇧
