sky is rubbish without the reminder service, virgin have it and it's a lot cheaper!!!!

Not holding out much hope sky will even read this let alone do anything. So many good comments on here and obviously an important feature that we as customers are missing. Keep posting and you never know. I had virgin for 6 mths and it was awful, the Q platform is far superior just a shame sky aren't using it right! Come on sky, reminder function please!!!

Exactly I am a gentleman of older years and have been relying on that this reminder feature for quite some time. After seeing my son's sky Q in Action I am now seriously considering if this upgrade is worth my time or a waste ( you can probably guess which way I am leaning)

I REALLY REALLY MISS the reminder function on this stupid Q box   - Who was the genius who decided not to add it?

As a result I will not recommend Sky to family and friends

Also I am amazed on  this forum that I cannot 'like'  all the other posts from people who want the reminder function as well

If they would use their  technology to put a reminder function on the box it would be more useful than giving me a stupid badge and congratulating me on reaching the next level (of what!!!)

Well, I got an answer, but the guy didn't get it. We aren't asking for Sky Never Miss.

I am assuming that the Reminder service you are referring to is actually the Sky Never Miss service and website.

Sky has made the business decision to close the Free Sky Never Miss website. This service was available to everyone, whether or not they subscribed to Sky, and was not part of your Sky Subscription. I am sorry to read that the removal of this service as impacted your enjoyment of Sky Television. Sky have no intentions of reinstating the Sky Never Miss website.

If you have previously been recording a programme on series link, your Sky Box will pick up the new seasons of that show automatically. There is no need to set up a new recording. Also, you can visit this page to find out how to keep up to date with New shows that are available on Sky, depending on the equipment you have.

Sky always values feedback from viewers. Your comments have been noted and passed to the relevant team for their information.

I had never heard of Never Miss so I won't miss it!

Their system wouldn't be so bad if when you ask to record a future program a message pops up a minute before it due to start giving you the chance of switching channels yourself.  If you said yes to this operation maybe a message could pop up at the end asking if you want to delete it.  That way they keep their recording feature intact.

I don't think I would have switched to Sky Q if I had known that the Reminder feature was now not available.  I used this feature regularly.
